The Garage Power Pop 4 pieces from Melbourne Australia. Formed by Phil Gionfriddo and Wangaratta bred Liam Linley when Phil picked up Liam on the dancefloor of a Wednesday night indie club while looking for singer who could dance , formerly known as The Bowerbirds continúes with her usual rip-snorting garage sounds.
Toured Europe in 2010 on the back of their debut 12″ – The Oz/Spanish released “HER NIGHT” LP.
Spent early part of 2011 recording their second LP “ODDS OR EVENS” with producer Robbie Adams (Killing Heidi/Gary Barlow/Kamikaze Trio) at a vineyard in the Victorian countryside town of Nagambie .
Past August The Bowers launched their fifth 7″ “LAY THE MARIGOLDS” with shows in Melbourne and Sydney and this October/November are on tour to promote “ODDS OR EVENS” LP with a follow-up European tour slated for April 2012.
