Realizar una serie de temas tributando a una banda como Led Zeppelin ya de por si es un proyecto ambicioso, hacerlo teniendo como protagonistas a bandas indies ya lohace dificil, y contar entre los tres discos que lo conforman 50 temas, ya me sonaba a una broma. Pero es asi , el proyecto encarado por Rob Jones, director de Jelous Butcher Records y que le llevo seis años realizarlo, reune a bandas indies realizando temas de Led Zeppelin, con un aparte de lo recaudado destinado a FIRST OCTAVE , una organizacion que promueve la educacion musical.
Al menos desde mi parte, corre con desventaja, ya que personalmente y emulando a Dave Grohl puedo cuestionar a Dios, pero creo fervientemente en la obra de Zeppelin. Aun asi y partiendo de la premisa de que
al crear un album tributo, los contribuyentes tratan de rendir homenaje a los artistas que los inspiraron, sin vergüenza, me sente a escuchar estas versiones, algunas me parecieron muy buenas, otras me divirtieron y otras me despertaron el impulso espontaneo del manotazo a cualquiera de los discos originales de la banda, que siempre los tengo a mi alcance, espero que ustedes lo aprecien de otra forma, saludos…
