Yes, yes, I know I’m late with this by a good couple of months…or nearly half year…Damn! . I´m not going to tell you that this comes from the bunch of things I’ve been meaning to share for a long while, neither going to sit here and tell you “I heard this months ago and it got lost in the shuffle” … However, gotta give credit where credit is due, what I will say is thanks to the folks over at exystence blog which having Peacers’s self titled debut on midst all their featured albums this week and I was pleasently surprised of the beauty that these dudes have produced and since I downloaded it a couple of days ago, I can’t stop listening to it.
It’s such feel good music wrapped in a tangle of guitars, drums, hiss interference and other signals, without the distraction of what my excitement may try to mask that this is a Mike Donovan product co-handled by Ty Segall .
Only a simple reminder after some fuckin’ migraine days that I actually love music.
