Beyond Beyond is Beyond is a record label owned and operated by Mike Newman and Dominique Miniaci . They run things out of Brooklyn, and have some amazing releases on your trays and on the horizon. They are calling this “cage-free rock & roll.” Whatever you wanna call it,it’s amazing. Their last release is BBiB Records Jam Sampler. This stuff is awesome. Anyone who is familiar with Beyond Beyond is Beyond bands, and even the last year sampler will love this record. A collection of bands and psych misfits from Brooklyn, NY laying waste to all assortments of genre descriptors.
Some bands I was already familiar with pretty put Psych Invasion in “awesome” column: Heaters , Jeffertitti’s Nile, The Myrrors, or the mighty fucking Japanese band Kikagaku Moyo, who deliver a great tune from their offerings on Forest of Lost Children LP. But I was also treated to my first exposure to brilliant songs from terrific psych juggernauts like Ancient Ocean, New Electric Ride, Our Solar System, etc.
Keep an ear out for Heaters, MIdday Veil , Sundays & Cybeles and a bunch more creepers,soon. They say here there “cage-free rock & roll ” and that’s exactly what you get!
