I find so easy to reconcile this with the onslaught of killer psych/drone/crust that has oozed out from European bands pores through last week compilations, because Moon Duo don´t break the mold and just play hi energy psych to kill me once again…Shadow Of The Sun is a battle of sickly croon that pushes and shoves through a crowd of feedback grinding Sanao´s synth, and John’s drums and Ripley’s guitar that growls and quickly turn to spirited chants into echoed shrieks and then back again along ten breaths and everything blooms into a great psychedelic tapestry of intelligent brutality…
