Well , I’ll apologize for for my conspicuous lack of posts the last two days, happens that weekends are a little crazy with my childrens playing around, to be honest.
Anyway, a lot of garage psych weigh in on my daily schedule as of late, so if you’ve been wondering why I haven’t been posting anything these days , it´s simply ´cause I’m stuck midst of hugs and laughter from my childrens.
But not today, today, during free time on my office between patients, I go back to the old addiction of posting crunchy garage psych in the form of Secret Colours.
Is an habit to me of listening to the fucked up sound that make to get the intense garage rock with a breath of 60´s psych , which these guys excel at each new release.
They were one of my favourite discoveries of 2010 , I am speaking of Illinois´s retro garage psychedelic four pieces called Secret Colours. from those this is the third time that their discography is posted on wearethalastbeatniks..
The band released their eponymous debut in August 2010 with high praise from countless blogs (including this one) . So, they has kept the momentum going with a series of digital singles, including a faithful yet distinct cover of The Beatles’ Tomorrow Never Knows and the brilliant Follow The Drone. Now after EP3 + – a seven-songs collection where showed their maturity and ability to keep their certificate of favourite among my records -, Secret Colours have come back to ride the psychedelia revival wave with Peach, this time with borderline polished, could call , nearly shoegaze .
