Well fellas, a new fuckin’ trippy garage party starts now .
Every family has a psych freak (or two ) , but Denmark is rolling up a lot of interstellar choppers lately, or at least I’m just now knowing about that.
So, as you, terrestrial psych vibes lover knows how have a good time, I ´ve summoned from Danish deep space to put a bony foot in our tight brains at The Hedgehogs, a blown-out briar patch of basement garage psych fantasy .
Hedgehogs actually hail from Aalborg , a Danish city in North Jutland, and it is a cannon full of confettis 60´s garage rocks full, fired on ten declamations between singles, full lenghts and live recordings which can found below, with fuzz bass, wah shrapnel , vocal sloganeering, and drum racket, all fighting in my head on a competition fierce for which of them is the best.
Recent record fave The Heights appear in particularly psych-up form, and all my soul trains are derailed. Here they change the 60´s retro-garage really solid by a dark synth drones swirl around thick, spacey guitar swelling.

Theese are som old recordings from the first demo we recorded. Only one copy was made and handed over to Lorenzo Woodrose, a big inspiration (Spids Nøgenhat, Baby Woodrose, Dragontears and loads more), at a concert. An actual demo never saw the day of light as the band changed their sound in a more harsh direction.
