If you recognize Mozes and The Firstborn’s name, its likely because I had posted them last year. I remember, suddenly they were there, Mozes and the Firstborn came to me recomended through a netherlandsrockerfriend, Maurice, a good fit for style of music I’ve embraced for here.
In 2011 took Moses and the Firstborn debut EP “I Got Skills”, which they recorded in October 2010 already, in the historical Philips NatLab, where the CD was invented and which now we know as High Tech Campus Eindhoven.
Early this year they released a new EP called “I Got Skills,” and their self-produced debut album saw the light last month
So, these guys are from Eindhoven, and they have good a mess of good influence in the music they’re making. The formula is simple. They keep the songs short, bang the drums, and play those awesome garage guitar patterns we all love. You know, from stuff like The Rolling Stones – The Beatles , Ty Segall or Black Lips with a good hold on the 60-70`s garage rock sound that will be familiar to anyone that’s heard Lenny Kaye`s Nuggets . A good rotation of all these things.
