I met a few videos from the guys in The Cult of Dom Keller at some reviews of Austin Psych Fest earlier last year , and their sound caught me straight away, had something almost ritualistic on their music, strange, an occultist view of psychedelic rock…

So i started to explore, check their site , read some interviews, track down their albums and stuff. You know like is an music´s addict …

Formed in 2008, Cult of Dom Keller are four psychedelic acid sick named Neil , Ryan .

Jimmy and Dave who began life as a jam band in the basement of an old cathedral., site where the band´s name was inspired while they listened “Dom Keller Os Mods” from “Pebbles Volume 3: Acid Gallery” .

Was when they found out that “Dom Keller” means “Cathedral Cellar” and it made sense, being that the dark reverberated sounds they were making in the cathedral cellar had been named.

So was born The Cult of Dom Keller.

Thereby I picked up all the EP’s they was selling, titled EP1 and EP2, and EP3 , all these released until late 2011, when I posted about them first time , all these driving psychadelia chock full of reverb and feedback, a freak rock infested by heavy beatnik touchs , shades acid psych and a trace stoner , it’s not often that you hear music played like this anymore.

So, after deciding reposting them last week I was also informed there’s a new release called Secret Sounds , and since it is in every bit as delightful as all above I’ve decided to include it in this great lysergic bag for that all those careless of their releases can go into their dark psychedelic world.
