Chris Robinson has called High Sierra his favorite music festival and after the way The Black Crowes were received at last year’s 20th annual High Sierra have inviting Chris back and was a fitting encore.
Now that The Crowes are on hiatus, Robinson has put together a musical brotherhood featuring Neal Casal (Ryan Adams) on guitar, Adam MacDougall (Black Crowes) on keys, George Sluppick (Robert Walter’s 20th Congress, JJ Grey and Mofro) on drums and Mark “Muddy” Dutton (Burning Tree) on bass.
They played some new material, a handful of old faves and some choice covers…
