An historic moment occurred on October 22, 2000 when Pearl Jam’s play an highly anticipated concert at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, when the Seattle grunge survivors paid a lengthy homage to Andrew Wood, the late frontman of PJ precursor Mother Love Bone.
The show marked the tenth anniversary of the band’s very first appearance, at Seattle’s Off Ramp Cafe, and the song – widely known as MLB’s signature track – struck a deep chord among the nostalgic diehards.
