Nuevamente aqui la descarga gratuita de Bring The Light, primera oferta post- Oasis de Liam Gallagher con su nueva banda Beady Eye, acompañado por Gem Archer y Andy Bell en guitarras( estos dos tambien ex Oasis) y el baterista Chris Sharrock . Completan el equipo aunque no oficialmente Jeff Wooton en el bajo y Matt Jones en el piano.Un adelanto de lo que sera el larga duracion que bajo la mirada de Steve Lillywhite esta anunciado para comienzos de 2011.
Tambien desde hoy se puede ver el video de Bring The Light en la pagina oficial de la banda o en su canal de YouTube, el cual pongo a su disposicion si desean descargarlo, el video fue grabado por Charlie Lightening en Londres y en el podemos ver al equipo en peno tal como apareceran en la gira…

We also interview those unsung geniuses The National and discover they’re not unsung geniuses really, in fact, the most powerful man in the world, Barack Obama, is a fan. And we thought we were doing them a favour…

Julie Christmas se ha convertido en una de las voces emergentes del metal con mejores criticas actualmente, y una de las que mas me gustan , vocalista de la banda de Rock Metal Made Out Of Babies lanzo el pasado 9 de Noviembre su album debut solista llamado The Bad Wife .

Se van a encontrar con un disco en el que la musica sube y baja , gira y da vueltas alrededor de la voz de Julie Christmas que pasa de tranquila, casi sensual a explotar en alaridos aplastantes, traduciendose en un disco de una textura entre delicada y tensa.

La verdad es que la escuche de casualidad, no soy de escuchar Metal Rock muy seguido, a pesar de que se que es un genero en el que se encuentran excelentes voces, como la de esta cantante, que muestra un potencial que me sorprendio…

Otra buena banda surgida de la cantera de Psicodelia en que se ha convertido San Francisco,como tantas otras que ya les presente por aqui.

Ellos son los Burnt Ones, cuya formula consistente de sonidos retro basadaos en la psicodelia, el garage y el glam de los 60´s es imposible de ignorar.

Burnt Ones surgio basicamente de las cosas que habia estado haciendo ultimamente su cantante y guitarrista Mark Tester en su proyecto solista llamado Golden Tongues Band, cuando comenzo a jugar con la idea de formar una banda en vivo, asi es como se contacto con Amy Crouch, quien se encargo de la bateria y Brian Allen del bajo, con ambos ya habian hablado de formar un equipo.

Mark describe su sonido como Electric Sleaze y Bubblegum Psych , no le gusta las redes sociales como Twitter o Facebook, aunque tienen uno , y desea que Phil Spector produzca alguno de sus discos , lo que por ahora es dificil con su condena por homicidio.

Hasta ahora solo engendraron estas dos criaturas psicodelicas que son el 7″ de tras canciones titulado All Night Long lanzado en Abril disponible en descarga gratuita , y su debut larga duracion llamado Black Theeth & Golden Tongues en Agosto , dos delicias Psych lo-fi dignas de escuchar, las pueden conseguir a traves de su bandcamp o a traves de Roaring Colonel Records, su sello discografico ( el tracklist de cada disco figura en el reproductor de bandcamp) , espero les guste, saludos …

Otro registro en vivo de estas cuatro chicas californianas con su particular estilo y sus actauciones consistentemente buenas .

El pasado lunes estuvieron visitando a David Dye en su segmento World Cafe: Next que se emite por WXPN 88.5 de y disponible a traves de NPR Music.

Solo interpretaron dos temas, pero suficiente para demostrar por que aparecen cada vez con mas fuerza entre las recomendaciones de la prensa musical.

Esta es una de esas bandas que decido compartir y que pr alguna razon quedan stand by hasta que algo me recuerda que estan ahi. Ese algo en este caso es el par de temas que conforman el single In The Abscene que acaban de lanzar disponibles en descarga gratuita a traves de su bandcamp, al igual que el psicodelico cover del tema de los Beatles Tomorrow Never Knows lanzado en Agosto,un semana despues de la aparicion de su primer album homonimo

Estoy hablando del quinteto retro garage psicodelico originario de Illinois integrado por Tommy Evans en voz y guitarra, Dave Stach en guitarra , Dylan Olson en bajo, Justin Frederick en bateria y la voz femenina de Margaret Albright quien tambien se encarga fantasticamente de los teclados, el nombre? Secret Colours.

Otro soplo de aire fresco con aroma a psicodelia garage de los 60´s, quizas encontrando la manera de hacerlos mas accesibles para esta epoca , engrosando las filas de la nueva generacion de bandas con un sonido retro rock con certificado de permanencia ( al menos entre mis discos , creo que ya me he delatado con respecto a mi simpatia por el psico garage retro rock)
