If you ´ve spent by my first post about The Leafs , you know it decidedly intense is their sound .
This is the debut release under title Trashin´ from these new guys from Brooklyn, Tucker Rountree, Emily Oppenheimer, and Ross Condon, that is at its core, a celebration to the 90s.
Albino Father is some sort of nucleus. Awesome protons and electrons come and go, helping the nucleus to be more than it could be on its own. Or some bullshit like that.
J E F F E R T I T T I ‘s N I L E is a hypnotic river of sound that encompasses the senses of it’s listeners/participants. Flowing vibrations transform us to formless and timeless dimensions. DAHGA BLOOM got a real cool psych-rock thing going and a sort of 70’s ish sound.

Deer Tick will release their next studio album on October 25. The group will kick off a lengthy tour in support of the album in their hometown of Rhode Island in mid October. The album’s support tour will then stretch until a stop at New York’s Webster Hall on November 20.

So i´m super pleased because i just find a bonus track that is available on a special limited edition of West, the last work by Shjips and as stand alone 7″ single via Thrill Jockey. This is Phonograph, featuring the non-album track “Phonograph” on the A side and a remix of the album track “Looking Out” by Peaking Lights on the B side.
