Wavves has been tapped as the guest composer for MTV’s new show “I Just Want My Pants Back”. The pilot episode aired yesterday Sunday August 28, following the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. The sixties blues heroes haven’t been producing very meaty blues for quite awhile so its refreshing to hear good ol’ Delta style blues being recorded again. The Stones put Mississippi Fred on the map with “You Gotta Move” and Seasick might just be doing what Keef should be doing rather than playing a pirate in a Disney movie.
