Primal Scream’s Screamadelica is without question a seminal album, and the fans present in Benicassim on Saturday 16 July it could appreciate on a very special time, at 3 am of Sunday 17, and was perfect really, like their set that is exactly that.
Wavves has been tapped as the guest composer for MTV’s new show “I Just Want My Pants Back”. The pilot episode aired yesterday Sunday August 28, following the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. The episode featured a brand new Wavves song called “I Wanna Meet Dave Grohl”. The sixties blues heroes haven’t been producing very meaty blues for quite awhile so its refreshing to hear good ol’ Delta style blues being recorded again. The Stones put Mississippi Fred on the map with “You Gotta Move” and Seasick might just be doing what Keef should be doing rather than playing a pirate in a Disney movie.
