This is the target from California rockers Mystic , formerly Blackfeet Braves.
The discogs from these mysteriously shrouded psychs messengers from LA is absolutely enthralling. The clean 13th Floor / Growlers influences evidenced by such bands as Allah La´s become even more pronounced in the capable hands of these fervent rockers.
“Psych” is like a dumb adjective that gets passed around reviews like politician promise these days. But when you really think about it, how many of these are truly psych ?
Well, for Mystic Braves it is the real deal, as proven by these invocations.
Reverbed guitars give off delectable howls while persistent beats drives ’60 vocals through a clouldless night en route to a sunny morning on small quiet beach.
If you haven’t spent time in a cool summer night with Mystic Braves vibes coursing through the headphones like silver moon rays aimed straight at your soul, you are truly missing out on one of life’s simplest pleasures.
