Those who know me well through wearethelastbeatniks, know that Moon Duo is more than a favorite band, a nice obsession. Their albums and EPs I think are not difficult to obtain, but it occurred to me that maybe this little EP might be new to many Moon Duo fans, as clearly indicated in the title, this recording catches them live during their last european Tour.
Old school psychedelic garage drone-rock that came out in 2010 showcasing what were playing Eric “ripley” Johnson with his girlfriend Sanae Yamada on what appeared to be a curiously shaped satellite orbiting the Wooden Shjips blown planet have managed to incorporate real rock drums jams full of echo and mystery to come off now as a quirky and energetic three pieces.
