Well, beatniks, I apologize for this new lapse in posting, yeah once again, but the migraine squeezed out my head that made me another fuckin´ week, I should note that I might not have endured without the help of my wife and Chinese Fountain, The Growlers new album . You know, The Growlers is one of the longest running and most potent beach acts in wearethelastbeatniks, and remains a group of genuinely nice people amid current vast garage ocean .
They helped to me to forget my headache all these nights . I settled my favorite pillow against my wife’s shoulder and forced my eyes shut. She put Chinese Fountain as I laid down and I fought to stay awake so I could hear more of these magical sounds , I had never heard thereby to they before, and I didn’t want to miss any of it (though on first listen I missed a lot because sleep always wins eventually).
Although the rest was uneven on somewhere in between dreams these tunes found it’s way into my head. I glanced over at my bed companion and saw her singing along.
For some odd reason, that moments has taken root in my mind. I remember smiling as she played the album for a second time, believing me to still be asleep. To be honest, I wasn’t crazy about this one at first. But after some days and many new memories, it’s one I plan on holding onto my main playlist for a while. I hope it do the same effect on you.
