My introduction to Jeffertitti´s Nile was 2011’s Midnight Siren from their with Dahga Bloom Split , a piece of carefully uncontrolled space ambience, so imagine my excitement when wearethelastbeatniks´s friend Thomas sent me their entire collected works! So these gems only will unravel that they have genre control since the first seconds.
Since 2009, somewhere between the worlds of aural journeys , rock´n roll and free forms psychedelia you will find this LA´s gang who play an oddball mutant psych-space-rock-surf-punk, musically far from nuclear bunch stuff of most retro-bands are ripping off these days, with a wild vocalist flowing from my speakers to abrade the atmospheric void with groovy rhythms for keep my insanity masquerading as music…
