Finally, Bobby Hecksher’s The Warlocks get their way to following up their 2009 The Mirror Explodes. The band has recently recorded a new LP that I just listen to and, let me say, it straight rules.
If you unknown them, You might say, “oh, another good contemporary band 60’s psych sounds , how good can that be?,” so, to contextualize for you, I’ll say this band is comprised of the BJM bassist , singer and guitarist here , so it could have a touch of the BJM sound, but with some key differences.
Since 1999 , with an ever changing personnel beside and based on a bunch of the 60-70’s psych vibes , Bobby Hecksher made things that started to be better with each record , injecting it with healthy dose of several trend, and that comes to full fruition on their Skull Worship. The best part of The Warlocks  is this   capacity inventive of mixing influences on different way each , like a kind of  psychic mirror . I’d say I actually really enjoy every song on , ‘ cause are really cool demos of a musician doing something on his own terms. So, download this and take in all puzzle pieces I bring you , I think can be something special.
