Every so often lover psych friend Emmanuelle send me some amazing discographies to add to the wearethelastbeatniks family, and most of the time this dude is so good on their follow through some teams which I posted that he amaze me (this is to say – seems I’m not very good on that ) so I can’t thank him enough for the awesome package that sent me full of rare Icelandic psych vibes of Dead Skeletons , including already posted gem, Dead Mantra debut album.
Mantra chants have rarely sounded this perfect – gain cranked to the absolute max and intensity piercing through the speakers, bathed in echo and reverb the sound is just hypnotizing …blown out such BJM way. The vocals are every bit as intent on spiritual, and endless saliva drenched Buddhist that simultaneously harnesses death’s surrender and life’s fight.
I listened all , then I listened to it again while reading about Jon “Nonni Dead” Saemunder Audarson life/artwork/Dead Skeletons birth , and then I listened to it again while editing the post and preparing the material for download.
This music is about battle won by Jon. This music is about being a weirdo. This music is about enjoy life without fear death.
