Well, well, well, I know you’re there for… you know, yes , you, psych vibes´s greedy , would like you more psych noise, more color waves in the air, and a bit breakneck speed shoegaze in your face, and would like you it be from somewhere far from your home so you can feel exotic ? So, I’m here to help.
From LIlle, the bizarre and magical city from French Flanders at the north tip of gallic country, near border with Belgium comes The Black Waves four piece with fourteen tracks of psych shoegazing fury tradition that do not leave us for one damn minute. Vocals are a wash of reverb and the tempo is relentless . I don´t expected this so killer when found it on my mail-box and my expectations were left languishing in the air beside my brain after the first track.
Fans of psych juggernauts like Black Angels or A Place To Bury Strangers will want to jump on this immediately, and those who enjoy rock ‘n roll should do likewise.
