Fuck Yeah re

I’ve been sitting on this last night listening Dead Sons while their files re-uploaded by folowers´s request , and simply because I don’t know how to use new words to properly praise to them, I´m embeding what I said about when The Hollers & The Hymns was released…

I’m trying really hard not to live these days listening to new Dead Sons album, of the wich I made a web rip it while I´m waiting my physical copy, and it sounds reallyreally good .

Several members of this fivesome from Sheffield have been part of the music scene on this city for a while, most notably lead singer Tom Rowley and drummer Joe Green who were members of indie team Milburn. Rowley and Green went on to form the Backhanded Compliments with new bassist Ryan Sellers. However, when the trio’s musical ambitions were being held back by their 3 piece constraints, they added 2 new members in the form of guitarist Aaron Finucane and multi-instrumentalist Mathew Byrne, and Dead Sons were born.

With the focus trained on it through post-Arctic Monkeys eyes ( they are from Sheffield too ) , it’s probably impossible to be truly unique nowadays.. May appear that there a fine line between both bands , but this line is marked perfectly on many levels and they have surprised me on more than one occasion since I found their first recording.

Combing elements of psychedelic rock with heavy riffs and driving rhythms is clear that Dead Sons have a firm idea of what they wish to sound like, and have a knack for producing that engrossing sound .

With a self produced white label double-A side vinyl release , an EP and a handful of tracks on free downloads released on 2011, added to a couple of singles from last year, we could contemplate jaunty, some what they had in store for us until this culmination eclectic of pure fast paced rock and roll.
