Electric Eye
Psychedelic space rock, inspired by the blues, India and the ever expanding outer space would fingerlings you on radio waves to get into Electric Eye. With among other things, The Black Angels, Wooden Shjips, Pink Floyd in Pompeii and Embryonic-album The Flaming Lips on the stereo Electric Eye has arrived at an interesting and captivating encounter between psychedelia and krautrock.
Built up great expectations for the awaited announcement debut concert from band on spring 2012. The response was overwhelming, and we are looking forward to new meetings with the Quartet. The band is new, but the musicians behind you most likely experienced before.
The Bergen-based band with Haugesund dialect consisting of Øystein Braut (The Alexandria Quartet, Dig Deeper), Njål Clementsen (The Megaphonic Thrift, Low Frequency In Stereo), Anders Bjelland (underground bergens studio guru and guitarist of Hypertext) and Øyvind Hegg-Lunde (jazz / noise / drone drummer corresponding one couple of other Klang collective-artists). All experienced and highly respected musicians who have toured Norway, Europe and the United States across the last few years with their respective bands.
Only half a year after the debut, but already has demolåtane out on the Web created furore in reverb-loving blogs from various world continent. The album is thankfully soon on their way, and it come out through Klangkollektivet in 2013.
