After what seems like a super-prolific  year  with three  previous releases to this which still stay on  my own  player,  these four  talented  fellas  from London have  found time to write and record another fantastic studio full length, entitled Semper Fi when I was really digging on their last Easy Listening  , and considering  it to was one of the most cohesive, psych-shoegazing  sound collages I’d heard from them , with their chemistry  on  full bloom, this new record attack my  senses in so many different ways and from so many angles, that it’s hard to believe they  made  another record that would even  above   that.

At first glance, Semper Fi  may sound like a polished extension of the aforementioned, but when you travel deeper into this new long player, you will realize that this is a completely new.

Even since the first  minutes show some newly added elements of psych  to the mix, with  an  slow creeping  guitar swelling , equipped with crackling percussion , and soft  strides somber  voices, which gradually introduces new colors to it’s fine palette setting   the rest of the record’s surprises quite handsomely..

Sincerely this record made the hairs of my arm stand up straight. If you aren’t a fan of this group, I guess  it’s because  you just haven’t bothered to check them .
