I was felt strange this weekend , seems like I’m in the eye of some virus or flu storm, so I stayed home.

So I got to look through all the blogs I follow and it was that wonderful ongakubaka blog that posted the latest Ride Into The Sun 7″, which caught my eye with their name that is a title from a Velvet Underground song (not sure how intentional that was).and a really gripping album art . So was that I downloaded it and wow, I really enjoyed so much.

I knowed nothing about this band, so I started to see which found about them.

Ride Into the Sun acknowledge themselves as disciples of the psychedelic sounds of the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Black Angels, The Dandy Warhols and 13th Floor Elevators and consider themselves something of an antidote to the anodyne ‘indie-dance-rock’ bands currently populating the live scene from Adelaide ( AU )

They started with their fits of ‘psychedelic shoegaze at early 2010, year which according bandcamp page was recorded their self titled debut album , but was never released, and by popular demand they released on may this year.

On over these years and after some lineup changes, always with 5 people, they released also two EPs and the up mentioned 7 inches . Currently they’ve been in talks with Brett Orrison from The Black Angels about a recording session, confirming that the band will be releasing a new EP in early 2013. I hope all this meant a bridge to a new full length.
