Other  little gem randomly showed up at my  mailbox   mornings ago , like some kind of tiny virtual  abandoned  puppy  beside  a little note signed by Scott Franklin, and what a pleasant surprise  was welcome to Buzzmutt.

Is that this young bay group has crafted an entire album’s worth of deep, rhythmic   pulses, lonely guitar cries and desolate  vocals  doing their own style of psych out  on their debut  full lenght , that now I´m severely hooked on them, like  a dark and beautiful place which I never want to leave.

At seems Buzzmutt  born as a name in Scott’s mind long before that he came to SF in 2004, even long before  joined  his art  with  Stephanie Mufson´s art , his wife, in 2007, or  meet at  Eric Alonzo, Jesse Olswang and finally to Chas Anton for  came to form  Buzzmut like a band in the beginning of  2010.

So , while  they played at  the Bay Area , has  recorded  a large amount of material which released under format three  tracks EP on 2011, a kind of preview of what would be later Static In The Minds Eye Chpt 1.,  their  full length debut  released a month ago.

There they has created it’s own world ,  taking psychedelic music in a  sort of new direction, but right along the lines of vibes I have been tooting on my posts , encompassing slow, psychedelic  instrumented tracks as well as garage-punk -noise-drone ones it switches between exciting vocals  in equal capacity throughout the album.

Both works are available for free and ” name your price” through bandcamp,  so you can grab it for free or better if you can toss them some money there to support the band  or buying a cassete for only 5$  , would be terrific……
