I´ve posted lot of garage-rock bands on the blog, and it shouldn’t be any news that I remain an unabashed fan of nearly every project connected to the genre., and now seems I’ve developed a habit of posting submissions which I received on these last times, maybe because the submissions have just gotten remarkably tailored to my tastes over that last year, but it is neat to me have music which with I’d has spent last hours enjoying after sent it me.

And this band make it easy for me to do so. This garage rock submission was sent in to me by Celina Ozymandias, Tentakills´s bassist , who think, from Glasgow, I should post on lastbeatniks if i saw that was creditable. I’d never heard of these guys before they sent me this release, but they certainly were right to do so, for they fit on the sound I so cherish.

Los Tentakills are a four piece band who make Psych Garage Rock on Scotland´s largest city and sounds much like the garage rock which i hope has enjoyed our parents when they was teenager , wild and fun , delightfully jangled, enchanting, and psych / -surf-tinged.

.Al Hotchkiss, Celina Ozymandias , Grant Canyon and Jackson Marlette, two of they from the US and the other two from Scotland are clearly influenced by 60s garage and psych. Their music breaks as sort of wild garage rock lo-fi , with vocals sometimes taking a rather prominent role, which musically reminds me of a band that could sound like Los Saicos , The leshtones or something closer, the bay bands sound , this is a so fine thing …

.I just Love Tentakills , it took me only a few tracks to make it. .

Their latest release four track, Los Tentakills Live at the 13th Note Cafe, full of true lo-fi spirit, added to a series of four psych-drenched country efforts, called the Cosmic American Music Single Series, an album Summer of Glycon, more lot of psych, surf and garage lo-fi live strangeness are available free on their bandcamp. less their first work The Psychotomimetic Sounds Of…, which you can buy only for ₤0.50 GBP or more , I did it , you can do it too and support the band , anyway you got the link to download it…
