Die Standleitung zur Gegenwart hat das dänische Quartett längst gekappt. Der rauhe, psychedelische Hardrock der frühen Siebziger ist ebenso ihre Sache wie der Psych-Folk und Garagen-Rotz der späten Sechziger. So altmodisch wie zeitlos, so konsequent wie brachial: Baby Woodrose stehen Genregrößen wie etwa Monster Magnet oder Bevis Front in nichts nach. Ein „schwer halluzinierendes Psychedelik-Rockmonster“ (laut.de), das sich passenderweise nach einer Hawaiianischen Schlingpflanze benannt hat, deren Samen den hochgradig halluzinogenen Wirkstoff LSA (Lysergsäureamid) enthalten.
