Nicole Ranalli started off as the leading voice in the Pittsburgh´s punk band Medic Medic,
when after some early recordings she has solo , decided to venture out on her own, but now set up her camp in Los Angeles since ends 2010 , and beside Phil Blythe and Michael Lombardi , now be coming under the moniker Lakookala.
An slightly eerie vocals but with a natural sensual quality, midst PJ or Allison Mosshart or Karen O , distorted guitars supporting the quick attack to the drums that on how straightforward and raw lends an hypnotic and interesting nature to the songs wich form their first record “Songs for Zemean”, that really terrific works.
