Ruby Rogers, Shelby Lynne, Lil’Boo, and Olivia Jean comprise The Black Belles, one more band that has cultivated and released on The House That Jack Built ( known as Third Man Records )
They first came to our attention when Third Man put out their debut, White-produced single in January 2010. followed by White-directed music video and if you recall, they also served as the musical accompaniment for Stephen Colbert’s on StePhest Colbchella ‘011.
Now , November 8 mark the date that highly anticipated full length debut album from The Black Belles is available directly from Third Man Records, iTunes, and all finer record stores ( as usual Jack )
60´s Garage Rock with a dark touch with an very apparent Jack´s hand on producing this album, the songs feature instrumentation and mixing very similar to much of his work.
To sum it up, this album is an extremely enjoyable listen, i didn’t expect the album to be this good. . Well , I’m a sucker for garage rock , Jack and goth girls, but who isn’t ?

Garage rock, Jack White and goth girls… yep. Gotta agree with you there. Three pretty damn good reasons to investigate this. Thanks for posting.
