Gingers music is a fine blend of funky rhythms, rocky riffs and wailing guitars. The young fourpiece heading from Zurich, Switzerland, is influenced by the free floating and experimental music of the late sixties and the early seventies.
A typical Ginger concert combines well structured songs and lose psychedelic jams. Playing the same set twice does not exist in their musical world. Jamming live on stage is an essential element of their music – often without knowing where they finally will end up.
Having grown up rather with the their parents´ LP collections than with MTV, our four time travellers reproduce those influences in the 21st century. The musician’s authentic stage appearance and their honest handmade sound promise taking you on a ride through time and space.

Muchas bandas de hoy utilizan para describirse la palabra retro. El espíritu de epoca que ha alimentado a muchos jovenes de hoy , amantes del poder y el dinamismo del Rock de los 60`s – 70`s con su ferocidad, salvajismo , vitalidad y su contenido de ideas a lllevado a estos jovenes a tomar estos sonido como su modelo de inspiración . Ginger es una de esas bandas con no solo un enorme nivel de talento y tecnica, sino tambien con una habilidad inusual para la improvisación.
Ginger ha existido desde principios de 2007. Arie y Marc se conocen desde la escuela , en donde tuvieron su primera banda juntos. Luego los dos se fueron por caminos musicales propios para finalmente unirse de nuevo para Ginger. Micha y Andu fueron encontrados a traves de Internet.
Cada miembro de Ginger tiene un fondo musical diferente, pero comparten la creencia de aquello que fue escrito en los años setenta esa musica sin tiempo que nada ni nadie puede poner en la sombra, esos diefrentes estilos arraigados en cada uno hace que su musica no tenga una direccion determinada, pero les permite crear un jam unico de Hrad Rock y Psicodelia, la forma mas natural de la musica que pueden surgir solo en una sala de ensayo o un vivo,, pero con una presencia permanente.
