Lamentablemente me esta faltando tiempo para escribir, o quizas para ustedes eso sea lo mejor. Mi sensación es que los años 90 han traído una avalancha de nuevas bandas de musica psicodelica, y muchos de los grupos más innovadores parecen estar en los Estados Unidos por primera vez en muchos años. Sin ir mas lejos estos chicos son de Philadelphia , y vienen enarbolando la bandera psicodelica en lo mas alto desde 1995, año en que lanzaron su primer single y se comprometieron seriamente con este trabajo, al punto de construir su propio estudio casero hasta llegar a su propio sello independiente , Lounge Records.
Este año lanzaron su septimo disco oficial con el titulo Hail To The Clear Figurines, de los siete comparto con ustedes seis , Honeyspot no lo consegui, ya saben que mi pais esta limitado tambien en la compra digital entre tantas otras cosas.
En todos adivinaran el esfuerzo extra que la banda pone a estas obra de arte de neo- Psicodelia. Si les gusta la música psicodelica inspirada en ‘bandas britanicas de los 60`s que van un poco mas alla de lo superficial estos albumes les gustara desde Onzuka, la primera cancion.
Tambien pueden pensar que Asteroid # 4 no se estan mostarndo nada nuevo, pero no pueden negar que fusionan con exito varios estilos diferentes de musica, y lo hacen muy bien. Al igual que un cientifico loco, mezclan y combinan estilos del pasados y del presente e inventan algo propio. Quzas no haya nada nuevo aqui, pero hay seguro una perfecta , agradable y embriagante mezcla de música …
