Sabemos claramente que la influencia de la Velvet Underground en el rock supera con creces sus cifras de ventas y numeros de exitos. Se trata de uno de los cantantes mas importantes como Lou Reed y une de las bandas de Rock an Roll mas grande de todos los tiempos, que preparo el terreno en los años sesenta para las distintas derivaciones que tomaria la musica rock en las decadas siguientes, entre ellas la del 90.
Si, este tributo se trata de eso, bandas de los 90s haciendo temas de la Velvet Underground, desde Nirvana y Echo And The Bunnymen hast The Reegs o Screamin Trees, es decir bandas ampliamente reconocidas hasta bandas que cayeron en el ovido, quizas por eso esto sea una seleccion tan especial.
No llega a ser ni el cielo ni el infierno lei por ahi, si desean ver como la influencia de la VU se metio en el camino del sonido de varias de las bandas de los 90s esto es un lindo disco para que escuchen o si son o han sido un fan de alguna de las bandas que aparecen aqui te recomiendo esto y si sos fan de la VU seguro tendras algo que criticar, lo cierto es que es un lindo lote de gente haciendo lo que realmente les gusta, y lo hacen bien, saludos…
