Undoubtedly San Francisco is still home to some of the best underground rock acts today. They’re the guitarist Ezana Edwards, who has moved back to his San Francisco hometown, where he’s joined up with Ryan Grubbs and Kyle Hoover of psychedelic guitar-pop locals Ganglians , and formed shoegaze-distorted-soaked kind project Blood Sister .
Their first couple of tracks makes me think of a crazed shaman with too much time on his hands and sympathetic friends willing to help him make giddy sounds ,recommended listening setting: alone in a poorly lit, dusty basement

Basically, I wanted to call it trash pop garage art noise, but I’m not sure if that is really a name for anything or if it would mean something unbeknownst to me. Sometimes if you listen long enough you can think there is something more going on than there is, and you’ll be like “whoa dude, when did this shit become shoegaze or punk?” It didn’t, you’re just being warped by the sound bombardments.
