Yuck, in just one year, have won hearts on stage first and then with his debut album, for  those  have become followers  ( like me ), after listening to Yuck’s debut record from earlier this year, it’s hard to imagine the  great deal of of bare, sensitive melancholy that lurk beneath the carefree, youthful veneer of Danile Blumberg .

Oupa is  the solo project of Daniel Blumberg, thinking head of Yuck, who was saved seven songs for himself and for his debut, Forget. 

Gone are the 90’s guitar riffs and intense feelings of nostalgia that Yuck are known for. Instead, Forget is a more somber and quiet outing with no musical affinity to any period in time, and although the songs are rather similar sounding. I Think is  a closer examination of Blumberg as an artist rather than a rock star,   with emotionally charged songs….
