Locomotives are a rock and roll band for the twenty-first century. Originally hailing from Bedford, a town smack in the middle of England but a million miles from anywhere, the band upped sticks and cut their teeth on Brighton’s notoriously eclectic live circuit. Now based in London, they have created a sound that takes in everything from big beat and Britpop to soul and classic rock and roll, yet manages to remain uniquely their own. 2010 saw Locomotives recording their debut album with Adrian Bushby (Muse, Foo Fighters) in London’s RAK studios and VMR, their own studio. 2011 and 2012 look set to see Locomotives bring their music and their live show to people all over the UK. Watch out.

Locomotives are a four piece indie-rock based in London formed of Valdis Stekelis, Chris Payne, Greg Watson & George Stekilis. The band met in Brighton in 07, finding they all came from the same home town. After a few years of honing their sound and playing many venues in Brighton and London under a different name.
Locomotives finally decided it was time for the first album at the end of the summer 2010. A home studio was bought at the end of the year and the album is underway. For their coming debut album, set for release towards the end of the year (2011) they are working with producer Adrian Bushby who has previously worked with Muse, Band of Skulls, Placebo, Everything Everything and many more.
