Can´t mention Jim Jones Revue without immediately drop the reference that these London´s guys joined to play exciting rock’n’roll. , and made own thing a sound which come from piano driven rock´n roll of the mid 50s in a clear evolution from wildest Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis through MC5 , The Cramps, The Ramones, The Pirates,The Stooges , early Motorhead , on midst an abundance of other musical references subtle and not so subtle presented in their works . Jim Jones has been making heavy garage rock since 1989 (around the time which most of the current crop of musicians were being born), first with Thee Hypnotics and Black Moses and now pulverizing punk rock blues with The Jim Jones Revue . Few words can describe them. Their songs themselves are amazing, the performances are adrenaline soaked (to say the least) and the final product is a damn near perfect , unpolished, fiery, rockin’ mayhem

The mere idea of going to a concert of these redeemers of Rock’n’Roll always made beat my heart , the words fail to express how much this wish has scoured through my brain, but I never got to see them live nor do I think the geography allow me
I could only get this if you’ve never been exposed to, for that you also feel blessed for these redeemers of Rock’n’Roll …

Brilliant band — thank you! Here are two Jim Jones Revue sessions (for WFMU and Daytrotter), plus their version of the Beatles’ “Get Back”: http://www20.zippyshare.com/v/CyRfFOpb/file.html
